Bath Time
I used to think bath time was just about getting clean: soap, rinse, done. But the older I get, the more I think it’s about letting go.
You step into the water carrying a whole day with you: stress, conversations you replay, things you wish you’d said differently. And then something simple happens: you sit, you breathe, and the water does what it was made to do. It doesn’t rush you. It doesn’t lecture you. It just surrounds you.
I think God is a lot like that.
He’s not standing over you with a checklist, waiting for you to fix everything first. He just invites you in. “Come as you are,” He says, and then He meets you there in the quiet, in the stillness, in the ordinary moments like a bath at the end of a long day.
Grace isn’t complicated. It’s more like warm water than a rulebook.
So stay a little longer. Let yourself be known. Let yourself be loved.
Prayer for your Day
Jesus, help me stop trying so hard to clean myself up before coming to You. Remind me that Your love meets me right where I am and never leaves me there. Amen.

Ahhh…the comfort in being surrounded. Great analogy .
I loved this, Bryant! 🥰
Hope your family has an awesome spring break!😊😊
